channel changer issues

I seem to be having a problem with changing channels I am using hipsend which is working fine from the command line but doesnt seem to be being called by PVRx2 (1.2.9) I have had a quick look in the logs, nothing!
I have also looked in config.xml thinking it may not be set in their, and there doesnt seem to be an entry for the channel changer application nor its arguaments in their??? where is it kept?

Reproduce the problem using live preview live tv, then zip and attach pvrx2.ex.elog and I'll take a look.

Its in the gbpvr.db3 database.

ticking Live Preview fixed the issue! I am confused why does it work in Live preview and not otherwise?

You'll probably find recordings will continue to fail to change channels. I'm pretty this will be because the channel changer you're using requires WM_COPYDATA (clipboard) to talk to other software running on the machine. Because the recording service runs as a different user account, this isnt possible by default.

Try editing the GBPVR Recording Service settings in the control panel to 'allow service to interact with desktop'.

Hi. I'm also having troubles with the exe channel changer. I't just wont work.

I want to use the external recorder plugin with the EXE channel changer to parse commands to dvbviewer (or any other dvb program.)

i'm using:

Code:

Executable: c:\program files\dvbviewer\dvbviewer.exe
Parameters: -c{channel}

From the DOS command line or batch script it works well.
But not from within GBPVR.

Any tips?
