Hi I've been using GB-PVR for some time now and I love it...I mostly use it to record my girlfriends daily shows, so I set it up to do a reoccuring recording of the same show using the TV Guide listing (not a manual record). Well ever since tuesday the program hasn't recorded anything, and I got one hot lil girlfriend ready to whop up on me..LOL. Anyways....I installed the new version of gb-pvr, and then went to check the TV guide area and it shows no shows at all for me. The tv shows are showing up in reoccuring recordings area but the main screen when you get into GB-PVR says there are no recordings scheduled. So now I'm lost.........and I need help!...

Hit the 'Update EPG' button I the config app capture source settings, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

WOW...thanks for your quick response!

I think I zipped up what you needed......

ALSO.....I noticed when it says "Testing...." it just keeps saying Testing.. it never changes.....

These arent the files I'm after. I'm after config.exe.log. Its in the logs subdirectory.

I'm not sure what "Testing...." message you mean. I dont remember anywhere in the app that displays that message.

Sorry should have specified....when you goto capture sources tab in config....for Name under it, it says Testing.....

Then when I goto Edit.....to update the EPG, the Source name is always "Testing..." I have a Happuage wintv pvr 150. Running Vista 32bit Ultimate edition. AMD 4200+ processor at 2.2 ghz, 3gig of ram.

I found thoes files...here ya go!

You've configured GB-PVR to use C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Listing.xml for its xmltv listings, but there is no listings in that file. The problem is in whatever you using to create that file.

GB-PVR has built in support for using Schedules Direct listings, you just supply your username/password and GB-PVR does the rest itself. Instead of using this, you opted to use xmltv - which is where you're telling the application that you'll supply an xml file containing all your listings. When you do this, its up to you to create the xmltv file of listings yourself. Its hard for me to guess what you used for creating this file - its external to GB-PVR.

ah.....seems I ran out of sub with another provider I believe....(hard to remember all this)...I just opened a new account with Schedules Direct.....seems everything is working again!...thanks so much for your help sub.
