Using GBPVR 1.2.9 and schedules direct about the time I updated? my listings are not updating fully? Or maybe I just can't view the listings fully. Basically I only get listings thru to the current day at 1700 (5pm) then all entries in the pvrx2 tv guide say (no show details), and GB-PVR tv guide is just blank for everything after that time. I even totally uninstalled and deleted the GBPVR directory, re-installed/setup and still does the same thing. I am at a loss of what I should be looking for in the configs. I have a Hauppauge PVR-500 w/fm. Viewed gbpvr.db3 with text editor and it has stuff in there for tommorow and beyond, the stuff always won't display in the listings. Tried complete reload/not complete reload, record/don't record dups, reloading from GB-PVR Configuration, the Tray icon right-click reload, and from PVRX2 System/Update EPG. Any Help will be greatly appreaciated.
PS I also have tried totally uninstalling .NET2.0 and re-installing that and .NET 2.0 SP1 when I uninstalled pvr at one time. Still no joy.

I can't say if it's related but recently (twice) my settings changed from 15 days down to 3 for updates. You might try checking config to see how many days your EPG is set to.

GB-PVR definitely seem to be getting listings, and its saving them ok, but schedules direct isnt sending many listings. Looks like only a day or so.

What sort of internet connection do you have dial up, cable, adsl, satellite? I seem to remember Schedules Direct (and Zap2it DataDirect before it) had a problem that could cause thise to happen. I remember it was particularly odd, and usually affected users with hughes satellite internet, but also some others. It had something to do with the size of the TCP packets sent to the across these types of networks.

pcostanza: I have tried messing with the number of days and also selected the 'Empty EPG' then change the days from 5 to 10, saved settings, verified settings in config, went to the main PVRX2 interface, check tv guide and it is clear (currently 0725), went to system/Update EPG, then tv guide has listings up till 1700 today.
Settings in config.xml:
<BlebUserAgent>GBPVR</BlebUserAgent>
<Zap2itListingDays>10</Zap2itListingDays>
<Zap2itPreferGzip>true</Zap2itPreferGzip>
<DvbEpgHarvestDuration>360</DvbEpgHarvestDuration>
<DvbEpgHarvestOtherServices>true</DvbEpgHarvestOtherServices>
<SaveZap2itXML>false</SaveZap2itXML>
<CompleteEPGReload>false</CompleteEPGReload>
<UpdateEPGFromSystemMenu>true</UpdateEPGFromSystemMenu>

I have changed duration from 60 to 120 to 250 to the current 360. What does Zap2itPreferGzip, SaveZap2itXML, HarvestOtherServices actually do?

sub: My connection is Cable with speeds of 550k down and 42k upload. I don't think it is this as I can use freeguide to get listings fine. Also I seem to have stuff in the gbpvr.db3 file for the next days listings. Maybe they are marked in that file so they don't get viewed by the tv guide viewer?

Zap2itPreferGzip: Downloads a compressed version of the xml file (like a zip file). Best to leave this as "true". It makes it a much smaller download.
SaveZap2ItXml: Saves a copy of the downloaded listings to c:\zap2it.xml
DvbEpgHarvest*: Not related to Schedules Direct. Relates to EPGs nested in DVB broadcasts.
CompleteEpgReload: Recommended to leave as true so if a previously downloaded schedule changes, your EPG will reflect the change.

I dont think any of the GB-PVR settings is going to help this. I'm sure the problem is happening at the SchedulesDirect end. Its is ignoring the number of days we're requesting and just returning todays listing.

If you set SaveZap2ItXml to true, you can at least see the data being returned. It'll be dumped to a c:\zap2it.xml file when the EPG update occurs.

I suspect it is related to this known SchedulesDirect/Zap2it error I referred to above.

I am having the same exact problem. My programs are all empty after 7:30pm today. I sent an email to the Schedules Direct people, waiting to hear back from them.

Where is the setting for number of days for EPG? I couldn't find it in the setup anywhere.

Its on the screen where you entered your Schedules Direct username/password.

OK, seems that there is an issue for the request to Schedules Direct. My current settings are:
<!-- EPG settings -->
<EPGProcessingMode>normal</EPGProcessingMode>
<UpdateEPGHour>2</UpdateEPGHour>
<WakeMachineForEPGUpdate>false</WakeMachineForEPGUpdate>
<BlebUserAgent>GBPVR</BlebUserAgent>
<Zap2itListingDays>10</Zap2itListingDays>
<Zap2itPreferGzip>true</Zap2itPreferGzip>
<DvbEpgHarvestDuration>360</DvbEpgHarvestDuration>
<DvbEpgHarvestOtherServices>true</DvbEpgHarvestOtherServices>
<SaveZap2itXML>true</SaveZap2itXML>
<CompleteEPGReload>true</CompleteEPGReload>
<UpdateEPGFromSystemMenu>true</UpdateEPGFromSystemMenu>

I did an EPG reload and checked the c:\zap2it.xml file. My guess is probably in this section NOTE remark about endTime not in valid format:
<xtvdResponse xsi:type='ns1:xtvdResponse'>
<messages xsi:type='ns1:messages'>
<message>The endTime you specified T23:59:59Z is not in a valid format, and has been corrected to a default value.</message>
<message>Your subscription will expire: 2008-12-08T13:53:27Z</message>
</messages>
<xtvd from='2008-05-10T00:00:00Z' to='2008-05-11T00:00:00Z' schemaVersion='1.3' xmlns='urn:TMSWebServices' xmlns:xsi='http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance' xsiConfusedchemaLocation='urn:TMSWebServices http://docs.tms.tribune.com/tech/xml/sch...msxtvd.xsd'>

For every station the last time for a listing is time='2008-05-10T23:00:00Z', and since I am in Pacific(-0800) time comes out to 5pm. So how do we get the end time to be in the correct format, or why is it not getting sent correctly with the requester in gb-pvr. It puzzles me because freeguide works fine with my SchedulesDirect account.

Added zap2it.xml zip file to original post

That error message has been there since day one and it hasn't caused any issues so I doubt that's the problem. As sub said, it's most likely something on SD's/TMT's end.
