Attached are my logs. I am running GBPVR 1.2.13. But, I had this same issue with the past 2 versions.

Basically, what happens is that when i start pvrx2 the screen comes up but nothing shows, all i see is my desktop through the window and all that shows is the the title bar (with the minimize, resize, and close buttons). This has happened in each of the last versions as well. But, in the previous versions, i had the old gbpvr and that would work fine. Config works fine, pvrx2 just doesn't come up visible.

Don't have any plugins.

Thanks for the help!

I have the same problem when I VNC to the server and start pvrx2. It has to do with vmr9 support. My guess is that if you choose overlay for video-renderer it will work ok. If you are sure your videocard supports vmr9, you might try re-installing the video drivers.

Finally got back to figuring this out. Since it wasn't working I didn't fool with GBPVR much. Just got back to it, and I finally discovered that my system couldn't handle PVRX2 when set to a high resolution. It's now working at a lower res. Thanks!

It probably means you video card didnt have enough video memory to handle the large textures needed when running your desktop at high resolutions.
