The only thing which is now stopping me getting rid of Sky+ and using GBPVR exclusively is that I can watch Sky+ on any TV in the house. How can I get the picture from GBPVR distributed to my other TVs? I'm guessing I need some sort of UHF modulator? Is anyone else here (in the UK) doing this already?

Thanks

Jon.

I use MVPs and a PCH at each TV (or a PC client). Then each one can do what they want. Distributing via RF would just copy one TV to all the others.

Ta, will look at the MVPs.

As a complete aside, I note your server spec is a P4 3.2Ghz. I've been trying to get GBPVR running on a mate's PC of similar spec today, and it couldn't do BBC HD at a decent frame rate. Are you able to watch BBC HD on that machine? And if so, what s/w setup are you using (what h264 codec etc)?

Thanks

i use inexpensive stereo modulators one for mvp and one for pch its only composite video but i find it good for use in bedrooms kitchen and basement pch on channel 110 and mvp on channel 115. to use from a pc your pc would need composite out. i also use them with xbox360 its nice for kids to be able to play from any tv and the kids say theres no lag i dont know i dont play it. missed the uk thing maybe similiar modulators there dont know.

Sorry, I don;t use the server for viewing at all nowadays. It's just got the tuners in and disk space.
That's the reason I got the PCH for the new HD TV - offloads all the work to hardware. With a core2 duo e6600 and an nvidea 6600GT it just about manages to keep up. Codec is coreAVC and rendrer VMR9 FSE
