I am still testing out the new interface. I am playing a DVD that has a 4:3 aspect ratio, it plays fine in the old interface, but not in the new interface. The picture is zoomed in with PVRX2. The resolution for the dvd is 720x480 which is reported correctly in the old interface, but appears to be different in the new one (looking at the log). I also have overscan setttings for my TV if that matters. Logs attached

Thanks in advance.

I just want to add that this problem applies to all me 4:3 recordings too.

Play a 4:3 recording, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and a screenshot, then I'll take a look.

Here you go. I have been using the auto aspect ratio which worked fine for the last couple of years for all content. Thanks

Its hard for me to tell from the screenshot what is wrong with the aspect ratio. For playing 4:3 content on a 16:9 screen I would expect black bars orn the left/right, which you seem to have. Are these black bars not wide enough, or is it something else that is wrong?

You are correct, the black bars are too small, the top and bottom parts of the image are cropped. I can upload the same clip using the old interface if you would like to see the difference.

Yes, that'd be good.

It doesnt look like the top of the image is cropped though, since I can see the VBI line at the time of the screen.

You are correct, the bottom part is gone. This happenes in PVRX2 regardless of the video renderer including overlay (I am using VMR9 Custom). However, with the old interface, using overlay manager, all aspect ratios render correctly, including this clip. I tried to take a screen capture but it was black. Is there a way to capture screen in overlay?

You cant capture from the Overlay renderer. Can you reproduce it on the old UI with VMR?

If you press F7 a few times, do you find an aspect ratio that is correct?
