Hi, noob GBPVR user here.
I just installed GBPVR, but don't yet have my DVB-T card. I'm impatient and just wanted to try out GBPVR, try the program guide, etc... but when I click on the guide the program locks up.
Maybe I shouldn't be so damn impatient! The error is probably because I don't have any hardware plugged in yet but I thought it may be useful reporting anyway. Here's what seems to be the relevant part of the pvrx2.exe.log file:

You probably have not set up your guide. GBPVR does not supply it's own guide data. You need to supply your own guide data from an xmltv source or capturing it from the DVB stream.

Since you don't have your DVB card yet, you will need to set up a dummy capture source and use an XMLTv file as the EPG source for that dummy capture card.

Thanks for the speedy response. Will probably just wait until I have the hardware. But it might be nice if there was no divide by zero in this situation ;-)

you should be able to do it without the hardware
have a look on the wiki for tv guide data options (i use revens one but you have to donate to get that latest version that works but in my opinion its worth the money )
you will need it anyway if you are going to use dvb-t (only has 1hour ahead)as it doesnt have guide data like dvb-s(has 7days give or take)
