I'v been fiddling with the NetRadio in order to add the Norwegian channels (that I don't find at ShoutCast), and finally managed to do so. During this process I discovered that GBPVR only cares about the first entry in a .pls-file in the NetRadio directory. Why is that? Would it not be cleaner to gather all favourite stations in a single file?

Another issue: Some stations har begun broadcasting 5.1 sound in WMA-format, which currently is the only stream supporting multichannel sound. Is it possible to add this format to NetRadio and perhaps flag these channels as unavailable for the MVP's?

Btw: Attached is a file with the major Norwegian netradio channels.

I actually perfer one station per file. I've also only ever seen single radio station station .pls files, so thats the format it was written to. This is the format returned by all the .pls files supplied by shoutcast.

Some windows media radio station .asx files can be added to the same directory and will show up and play. You'd have to try it and see.

Hi

I took those stations and made a RadioStations.xml for the WebRadio Plugin.
But I went to the websites and got the ASF streams at the highest quality.
You can get the file at.

I updated the Excel sheet with Radio Stations for new Zealand, Sweden and Norway. Uploaded it to the wiki.

Mixman, can you take a look at my post in "Plugin and skin support"?

The NRK-5.1 channel seems to work fine outside GBPVR, but nighter in WEB- nor NET-radio. It is found here:

Another question about "netradio": The predefined netradio stations (in ver 1.2.13) does not work for me. Were do I edit them or remove them?

Net Radio doesnt have a predefined list of stations. The list is dynamically downloaded from the shoutcast.com website. If they're not working for you, its most likely you've got some firewall software getting in the way of the streaming.

The dymanically downloaded radio-stations from shoutcast does not play inside GBPVR. When I click "tune-in" on the shoutcast web-page, they play in Winamp without problems! In GBPVR a line on top of the display continously says "buffering...." and then the URL (----aol.com)

I think that PVRx2 only supports the mp3 stations on Shoutcast and not the aac+ streams. GBPVR can stream them to the NMT though.

As I mentioned above, its most likely a firewall issue with GB-PVR being unable to connect to the server. If you reproduce the problem then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log then I'll double check for you.
