Hello,

I'm trying to record from the analog input of my hauppauge wint tv nova-plus.

i can watch tv over the composite input of this card, but i am not able to do a recording (and also no time-shift viewing)

Everything works fine when i record from a DVB-S channel.
I can also record from the analog input with WinTV Software, but not with gbpvr.

Do I have to install an additional muxer for that task?
Or is it not possible to make recordings from analog sources with that type of card?

Can anyone help me please and give me some hint?

The analog side of this device lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder, so isnt usable in GB-PVR. Sorry.

so i have to live with it so far....it is ok.

is it general not possible to record from analog inputs or is it just with the nova-s-plus?

...by the way....gbpvr is great !!! i like it so much!

GB-PVR can record from analog inputs, just not on this specific devices because it doesnt contain an onboard hardware MPEG2 encoder.
