Unsupported card: Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2200?

Hi, I've just got my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2200 card, which I was told was good (and suitable for GBPVR if I understand correctly).
Have just installed GBPVR and am not sure what to do first, so started the TuningAssistant.exe. But this has no option for the above card - what do I do? After I cancelled and saw the TuningAssistant window... I clicked on the ok button and it GPF'd

PVRX2 dies (locks up permanently) when I try to view the tv guide - I understand it does this when I have no channels set up and no EPG loaded (I hope that'll come via the card once that is set up). So really need to get the card going!

Tuning assistant is for analogue cards. Not sure if it will see the analogue side of teh 2200.

You should be able to create a new dvb-t capture source set no epg, and then scan for channels.

Oh for analogue cards, I see - DOH!

Errr.... so how do I know if GBPVR is seeing my cap card? I clicked 'live tv' and it just blinks almost imperceptably and then appears to do nothing. Shouldn't I see my HVR 2200 listed somewhere as a device? (BTW, it appears ok in the windows device manager.)

I should have also mentioned that while in PVRX2, if I click 'settings', it briefly flashes up 'general, playback, main menu' on the left-hand-side, then returns to the main menu.

Oh good grief, ignore me, I think I'm being too hasty... found it. Under capture sources, I thought that was just for epg info. Guess I'm having a blond day.

the settings bug is a known bug. In the file system navigate to devnz\gbpvr\skin and create a settings directory.

But there's nothing in there that would actually help you.

Thanks guys - in devnz\gbpvr what should it be? 'skin' or 'Skins'?

(There was already a folder called 'Skin2' with the blue theme...)

You just need to create a ..\devnz\gbpvr\skin directory with nothing in it.
