Start GB-PVR with a remote control (MCE or Hauppauge)

Hi,

I would like to know if there's a way to start GB-PVR (like Vista MCE which I have disabled since Ii doesn't support HD-PVR).

I've tried IR Server Suite (Translator or Tray Launcher application) but it would not detect my any key on any of my remotes.

According to the documentation, you can edit the Irremote.ini file to do this.

That only works with the retail Hauppauge products, which have a different sort of remote.

With MCE Remotes you need to use IR Server Suite, or Event Ghost, or HIP. I cant give you exact steps since I've never done it myself.

In fact I have both an MCE and an hauppauge remote, I even have a Logitech Harmony remote so I can program it with the best of both worlds.
