EPG Update Problem with Schedules Direct

I haven't recorded anything since the Olympics, but now that new season are starting, I was trying to setup some recordings. However, the EPG is showing up blank with "no show details" for every time slot. When I force an update, the log looks fine, but still no details. Any idea?

I cant see anything obvious there, but try searching your driver for additional copies of gbpvr.db3.

I ckecked for the database. I have "gbpvr.db3" and "copy of gbpvr.db3". I deleted the copy, but still nothing. Is there a way to clean out the database?

You can delete the gbpvr.db3, then run the config app and it'll create a new one.

I'm having a similar problem with the EPG not updating correctly after moving from one state to another. I've tried the above steps and they haven't helped. The best I have received for the updates is through 5:00pm local time. I have even tried reinstalling GB-PVR and the drivers for my tuner card with no success. any ideas? (have even seen the error message of end time not correct and has been set to a default value in one of the log files)

Where is the EPG information stored anyways?

In short, the epg automatic update isn't working right if at all and when it's manually updated, it only retrieves information for that day up to 4:00-4:30pm.
(after switching to a different lineup in a different city)
