This is what is going on. I have been having problems with EPG updates. It looks like the EPG is getting updated, but the updates are not showing up in the web admin or the tv guide (gbpvr 1.29).

I was using yapi2xml and thought something might be going wrong with it so I switched to mc2xml a couple of days ago. I looked at the web admin yesterday and it said I have 12 days of programming. Today it says I have 11 days. I manually ran the UpdateEPG.bat file and the xml file shows it was updated today, but it still says I only have programming for 11 days. When I look i the tv guide the programing goes out to the 2nd of Oct. When I look at the xml file it has shows in it through the 5th of Oct.

When I run the update epg through gbpvr it does appear to update the xml file, but the updates don't reflect in the tv guide or number of days of programming left. Restarting the pc has o effect.

Help.

This is usually caused by a duplicate channel in the guide. Zip and post your logs.

The date on my PC is the 23rd of September 2008. In fact I'm using atomic clock (for many months) to keep the time on track as it had been drifting and causing show to miss a bit.

The pvrx2.exe.log you included in your zip shows the incorrect date.

Maybe your logs are old. Try deleting the log files, then reproduce the problem, and repost the new logs that get created.

I deleted the logs, then used the tray icon to update the EGP. Once this was done I went to the web interface and it showed 13 days of programming. The guide went out to the 5th of Oct. All of the dates in the pvrx2.exe.log file had today's date.

I guess I'll see what happens tonight when it does an update. Do you think this would have fixed the problem?

Thanks for your time and help.

Do the 'update epg' from the System screen in PVRX2, not the tray icon, then check the logs again.
