When Config exits, there is a window that appears that is labelled "Information". After initially having some text in it, =it then goes blank and the title line says "Not Responding" until COnfig finally exits.

Config usually takes several minutes to complete its exit. During that time the Task Manager shows almost no processing being done by Config.

Is there supposed to be something in the Information window? Is there something I should change so the window is not always blank?

Is it normal for Config to take a long time to exit?

Normally it'd exit pretty quickly. It takes few seconds for me. It does a database cleanup when exiting the config app, but takes longer if you've got a huge number of channels and days of listings.

It doesnt attempt to multi-thread the display of the information window (which just says "restarting recording service"), and if the database cleanup takes a while on your machine then windows may have problems painting the window.

Config takes several minutes (on the order of five minutes or so) to exit.

I have two capture cards and approximately 90 channels and 14 days of listings in my EPG. When I look at Task Manager though, Config isn't using cpu time for most of the time it takes to exit.
