Currently using Compro S350 DVB-S card which is useless when scanning for channels. Most are OK but a few dont work such as CITV, either coming up as encrypted or no signal.

Using DVB Dream CITV works like a charm.

I have pasted the two lines I have in my cache file, the first was the one that was in the file I downloaded from here recently, the second the One I have added using details from DVB Dream.

T:10758,H,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2044~P:10071~V:3332~A:3333~L:eng~PMT:258~TXT:2366~PCR:3332~N:>CITV
T:10758,H,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2044~P:10071~V:3336~A:3337~L:eng~PMT:257~TXT:2386~PCR:3336~N:>CITV SRH

Can anybody suggest where I am going wrong.

thanks

I'm not at my machine to check my entries but I can see that your scan cache file has H for Horizontal polarity and DVBDream shows it as V for Vertical.

Martin, Any ideas what I need to check to get HD working, my LNB is new a quad unit sold as HD, but is there anything I can do to verify this?

DVB Dream doenst show it either, so not just a GBPVR problem.

There is no difference in LNB between SD and HD. I just have a bog standard Sky quad lnb. Here are the three HD entries from my database. (watch out for spaces that the BBS may insert!). And my setting for the tuner.

Driver Version is 1.3.6.6 dated 12/09/2007 (I found another that didn't work).

Try recording something and see if the disk file grows - it could be that you are receiving HD, but don't have the codec to display it.

Code:
T:10847,V,22000,56~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2050~P:6940~V:2328~VTYPE:H264~A:2330~L:NAR~PMT:258~TXT:2331~PCR:2328~N:>BBC HD
T:11426,H,27500,23~NID:59~ONID:2~TSID:2315~P:10510~V:3401~VTYPE:H264~A:3402~L:eng(AC3):3400~TXT:2353~PCR:3401~N:>ITV HD
T:12643,H,27500,23~NID:32~ONID:2~TSID:2603~P:54206~V:2319~VTYPE:H264~A:2320~L:eng~PMT:265~E:T~PCR:8191~N:>Luxe TV HD

thanks Steve

Martin, I have finally cracked the CITV issue, it didnt work at first coming up saying no signal. I checked ProgDVB and DVBDream and both had identical settings.

My only other thought was I had two entries in the scan file that both started T:10758, but were different, I deleted the incorrect one, and now it works.

thanks for your help.

I use an NMT/PCH for viewing HD. But I think something like the below may help you. I can't remember what I used before TBH. A demo of CoreAVC worked well ISTR - but not free once it expires.
The CCCP codec pack may work http://cccp-project.net/
