Mine will be here tomorrow as well. I can't find where I saw it but reading yesterday I saw where there should be some very low prices on these cards come late December, early January. The article said it was due to both the Feb.2009 switch in the states and the economic situations. Funny, they said RAM might be increasing in price.
Has anyone tried the Hauppauge QAM plugin yet? http://msmvps.com/blogs/chrisl/archive/2...22759.aspx Paul Custom ASUS Maximus X Hero, 16 GB Memory-ASUS GeForce 1050 Ti, H115i Pro AIO, 850W PS, CM H500P case, Corsair Vengeance RGB Ram, Samsung 970 EVO, HDHomerun Prime & Extend Tuners- running Windows 10 (and other goodies)

Just wondering what I loose if I put my HVR-2250 PCIe in an x16 slot. The system is pretty good on it's own but if I wanted to use 2 of these bad boys and only have 1 free PCIe slot and put the other in the x16 slot, would that be a problem? Or, just 1 card in the x16 slot only?????
I may try it to find out but wanted to know if anyone else has done this and what the experiences are. All you will lose is the PCI-Ex16 slot. The x16 can handle an x8 or x1 card also, the x8 can handle an x1 card also. My ASUS A8N-SLI Premium has 2 x16 slots (for SLI).

On a side note, I had one heck of a time getting the drivers to work! I had to change the subId in the .inf file to match the registry. Just in case anyone else has a problem, you might look here: http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=11747.0 And, for some reason, I'm not getting as many ATSC channels with GBPVR as I am with the crappy WinTV software and with Vista Media Center.
