Using GBPVR with Twonky Media, and a Philips Streamium 300i.

Recordings made using the Compro Software display in 16:9 format full screen on my TV.

Recordings made using GBPVR are in 16:9 formet but there is a 3" black strip around all sides.

Any ideas?

Do you have the tv shape correctly set to 16:9 in the config app?

What video decoder do you have selected?

If you press F7, is there a specific aspect ratio mode where its correct?

Sub, Yes 16:9 is set in the config, using Cyberlink Mux.

The F7 is only for use in the PVRX2 app though, cant do that with Philips Streamium 300, which is where the problem is.

Sorry - I dont know. I can only assume its some short coming of your Philips device that doesnt like the recordings produced by the Cyberlink mux. I know other devices like the Popcorn Hour play them just fine.

There isnt really and mux settings I can tweak, so all I can suggest is trying a different mux.

Going back to PVRX2, the screen size is wrong and I cannot correct using F7, if I play the files is media player the aspect ration is correct, but what ever I do it is 4:3 in PVRX2 or worse.

Do you have the TV Shape setting set correctly in the config app? If so, then F7 should have a setting that works for you.

In the config app I have playback settings on 16:9, the monitor I have is 4:3, so would expect black lines top and bottom, but am getting full screen.

If you have a 4:3 monitor, then set it to 4:3.

You get different F7 option depending on the TV Shape you have set. To the correct aspect ratio modes, you need to have the TV Shape set correctly.
