Hi,

I have my entire DVD collection backed up to my HDD, in the same folder that GBPVR's Video Library points to. The DVDs are stored as VOBs in their VIDEO_TS folder

I can see and play the movies fine, except for subtitles. If I click the "..." button (is that what turns on Subtitles??) nothing happens.

There's no right click context menu so I don't actually know how to turn on Subtitles. Or how to choose a different audio track etc etc (to hear Director's commentary). Is this possible?

Thanks

-Matt

PS. I don't think Thread Subscriptions work either - I never know when there's been a reply posted but I always choose Instant email notifications. Hmm I'll check my gmail trash.

What DVD Navigator do you have selected on the DVD tab in the config app?

I don't play too many VOB files with subs, so I might be off, but I don't think I've ever had a sub problem with them. Certainly don't have sub problems with .mkv and things like that. Just needed to make sure VSfilter was installed.

Could then turn them on or off and all that from the little icon on the Windows taskbar. It might be my generic remote, but I had to use HIP to program a key to do it with a remote. Not a big deal, though.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

Under Navigator it says "DVD Navigator". That's the only one I can choose.

Usually that one would do. They seem to work here.

Are you using one of the VMR video renderer options, or something else?

.

yellow (ctrl + y) and green (ctrl + g) cycle trough subtitles and audio tracks.

Thanks for that fuzzweed. That's what I needed to know. I don't have yellow or green but Ctrl Y does the trick.

Sub, a context menu would be nice cos sometimes I have like 20 subtitle tracks to cycle through and no on screen feedback as to which I'm seeing.

Now I've completely lost audio when watching a DVD stored on my hard drive (avi's have audio), man this is annoying. How do I know which audio track is playing? If I exit a movie and then start another one it should play the default audio track, right? I'm pretty sure I had sound earlier.

If I open a VOB in VLC audio plays fine, any idea why this isn't working in GBPVR? I have System Default for all the encoders etc.

Sorry, that would be totally out of place. There is no context menus anywhere in the app.

Fair enuff. How about a visual indication of what subtitle it's displaying (when you first switch to that subtitle).

e.g. (1/9) English.
Then I hit Ctrl-Y and it shows (2/9) Spanish

This disappears after 5 seconds or so.
