add these to irremote.ini to following sections:

[Default]
GRNPOWER={run(C:\progra~1\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe)}{mode(GBPVR)}{sleep(5000)}{FindWnd(GBPVRWndClass,)}{fgnwnd()}
; starts GBPVR, waits 5 sec and brings it foreground (is already so), change path to your installation path!

[GB-PVR]
GO={alt}{f4}
GRNPOWER={run(rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState)}
; GO shuts down GBPRV and drops into shell (explorer or LiteStep), Green Power button puts pc into hibernation
--- GBPVR system ---
Server: homemade (ASUS MB, AMD x2 5200+, 4G RAM, 3.2TB RAID5, 1Gbit) + DVB-T Hauppauge HVR1300 (h264 TS) + IPTV
Clients: ASUS Pundit-R (P4 3.2GHz Northwood!, 1G RAM, zero HDD - netboot, WinLIRC to use Hauppauge remote on system without Hauppauge devices) + IBM ThinkPad T42 (pvr over 802.11g) + FSC N560 WM6 (802.11g) + etc Smile

Is it also possible to wake-up the machine from hibernation with the remote control? Moving the mouse will do so; but i haven't found a way to wake it up from my couch using a remote control

Without special hw it isn't possible!

There are things that could be done using either WOL hack (if MB supports it), Wake-on-modem or so using serial IR receiver with programmable chip. Without this chip your computer wakes up to any ir activity (tv remote, stereo remote etc).

Hi,
which special HW are you talking about ? Can I use a MCE2005 remote + USB receiver to wake my GBPVR from hibernate ? These MCE remotes + receivers are 35 Euro, so it's affordable.
Regards,
Edwin

USB devices can wake PC's. The firefly remote works this way. Have you tried it?
Asus A7V880 Motherboard
AMD Sempron 2400+ 1.67GHz (Socket A) CPU
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 200GB SATA 8MB Cache
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 160GB SATA 8MB Cache
Corsair 512MB DDR Value Select PC3200
Hauppauge PVR150
2 X Hauppauge Nova-T (200009)

No,
I haven't tried that. I only have the Hauppauge PVR-350 remote.
I'm thinking of buying another remote which has a USB receiver, so I can wake my GB-PVR PC from hibernate.

But I want to know if anyone has this setup working before ordering a MCE remote . . .
Regards,
Edwin
