I was running 1.213, yapi started throwing error messages, and I didn't have time, so I let it sit a few months.

A couple days ago, I installed 1.37, and started troubleshooting the yapi problem.I saw that Verizon changed some channel numbers. I corrected the data, that stopped the error messages, but, while the guide has stations in the left hand column, only one of the seven stations actually has program info. After a bit it occurred to me to check the "Search Guide" function, and to my astonishment, the data for all the stations appears there. And the xml file looks good!

With all the changes, I have no helpful history, except that it once worked. Thoughts?

The usual cause of it showing in the search guide, but not in the tv guide, is that the user has the clock set wrong on their PC clock. Going to the tv guide then shows you a time period with no listings.

I just checked the clock & timezone; it's set correctly. Now I'm getting the yap subscript error, but it will probably grab later.

What next?

Try viewing the tv guide, then zip and attach the logs and I'll see if anything stands out. (I'll be out for most of the day though, so wont be replying for a while)

Will do. I have to wait for yapi to manage a reload. Thanks.

Fixed. From "Config"-->"Edit Recording Source", I executed "Empty EPG" and "Update EPG". The "Update EPG" button in the "System" menu of the app itself doesn't fix things. I suggest an equivalent functionality, whatever it is.
But I do note that the "Search Program Guide" freezes the app on button push, about one in three times. I saw this also in the previous version I used, 1.213.
