I Have been using my GBPVR server with one DVB-S card for a weeks or so with no issues. Installed second card today, now recordings are pixelating and breaking up.

I am assuming this is because my system is not man enough, or do I need to tweak some settings.

The recordings are all stored on a seperate physical drive to the os and GBPVR, and the server is not used for any other purpose other than recording and serving a PCH.

I have attached my log files and config.xml if they offer any help

thanks, Steve

I would concur,

that system should easily support what you are asking it to do.

Just to check this pixelation is happening if you try from the server as well?

Out of curiosity, is this happening to all your recordings?

Had a similar problem with some overlapping recordings (pixelation, etc). It turned out it was due to comskip running after one recording has finished and the hard drive was thrashing to keep up. Just a thought.

Could be, although I have disabled ComSkip under the processing tab and Misc tab it still seems to be running as the text files are produced.

Perhaps I need to remove the apps from the GBPVR directory as well.

You've probably created (or installed) a PostProcessing.bat that runs comskip.
