HVR2250 Remote

I am having trouble getting the remote with the 2250 to function properly - some keys just don't work, such as channel. Is there something special I need to do to get it to work?

OK - is there a manual somewhere that explains the icons on the remote, and what codes are generated by each button? I can't for the life of me figure out some of the icons - I can't find one that will bring up the guide while watching live TV!

Can anyone help me here? I cannot get the guide to pop up while playing live TV, none of the colored buttons work, except the blue one, which used to bring up the info about the show on my old Hauppauge 45 button remote, now all it does is bring up the volume bar! What remote do I pick in config - Hauppauge or MCI??

Well, picked Hauppauge and fix 45 button remote - now MOST of the buttons work, but none of the transport buttons work - FF, RW. Pause, etc. Also, when picking a show from the guide, I can't hit Play to start live TV!! The <- doesn't work either, whereas it did when I picked MCE remote! I am so confused!!

If I pick MCE, the transport buttons seem to work, but the TV guide button no longer works, the * gives an 8 rather that live TV. What the hey???

I probably wont have an answer for you, but out of curiosity, which remote does it have?

It is the MCE clone - on back it says RC6 and RRS9002-86XXF.

My transport buttons don't work with the Hauppauge u45 button remote unless I load lr32.exe. This is in the direct access to the remote mode.

Is there a file that I can use to add/change button functions?

My transport doesn't work with ir32.exe running or not! Wish someone could help me out here!

In device manager the IR receiver is listed as a Microsoft eHome infrared transceiver, if that helps.
