multiple MVP's or clients?

Sorry, I'm a build your own PVR newbie so this question may be obvious to some but I couldn't find documentation that would help me answer this question.

Is anyone using a single GB-PVR server to source multiple MVP units ? If so how's the performance? What about other client computers? I see some of the other PVR solutions out there sell seperate client software to gain access to live TV and recordings but I didn't see any mention of this on this site.

You can use multiple MVPs. No, there is no PC client like you describe.
