Load FFDeCSAdll Error

hope you all had a nice X-mas

I am building a new gbpvr box (old one been running since now -05)
This time I am going all digital and have a dvb-s card (hvr 4000)
I have a dreambox with one local subscribtioncard and one remote over wan
everything is up and running with switches,signal and so on.

I have GBPVR 1.3.7 on Vista and have done the XML, capture source config.
scanning worked fine all channels showed up but only FTA ones in preview window. Watching free channel works great.

I then added MDAPIFilter and the Vista trayicon from the latest ver.
starting a decrypted channel via tvguide now gives me the tray icon.
I started with wincsc as client-plugin and have solved the connection to the dreamboxs port and it reports reading the local card via the gui from the tray.

I get no picture in livetv on this decrypted channel just black and after a while it hangs.

From the MDAPIFilter.log I find this error:

29-12-2008 22:45:39 [ERROR] [MAIN] Decrypter::LoadFFDeCSAdll() LoadLibrary failed with error 14001: Programmet kunde inte starta eftersom programmets sida-vid-sidakonfiguration är felaktig. Kontrollera händelseloggen för ytterligare information.

Translation from 14001: (onward due to non english OS)
"the program could not start due to the programs side-to-sideconfiguration is wrong. check eventlog for more information."

from the event log i find (also translated)
It was not possible to create activatingcontext for C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\MDPlugins\FFDecsa.dll. The depending composition Microsoft.VC90.CRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Use sxstrace.exe if you want to diagnos further.

I cant find the sxstrace on the system!
does any one have a suggestion?

From that it sounds like FFDecsa.dll is compiled with a later version of the compiler than GB-PVR uses, so you need to install some updated VC runtime libraries. I'm sure the MDAPIFilter posts on the dvbn forums should list where you can get these.

Alternatively look for an older version of ffdecsa.dll.

with the mdapifilter install 2.2 and above, I think a couple of versions of ffdesca.dll are included.

after my post I tried some more things based one the error log

I found a folder from some of the versions of MDfilter
named FFDESCA-VC90 with a FFDecsa.dll in it and took that and replaced the one in the gbpvr folder.
Now the error in the MDAPIFilter.log is gone but it still not working

I have a warning in the log file that says
30-12-2008 11:22:12 [WARN] [MAIN] PluginsHandler::LoadPlugins() DLL .\MDPlugins\msvcr70.dll has no function On_Send_Dll_ID_Name

the log is attached
my conclusion so far is somethings wrong with the installation of MDAPIFilter
so I go on searching info on DVBN Forum.

any other ideas?

I have reread all the info on MDAPIFilter and reinstalled
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
MDAPISetup via the InstallFilter.cmd
and moved the files from VistaTrayIcon folder to the GBPVR folder

Startup via the tv guide on encrypted channel
No errors in log, no picture
with wincsc I had Runtime error 217 (said to be common)

so I tried acamd that was recommended here

acamd monitor says client 'Newcamd' ready
but no picture
suggestions on next step in the solvingit process much appreciated

From a GB-PVR perspective those logs look fine. I'm not an expert what happens inside the mdapifilter though.

I noticed that the static window that you find from the tray icon is empty
should it be that?

Didnt really change anything
rebooted
went in to config started a scan
and noticed that one of the scrambled channel showed up in the
preview window
and it also did show in pvrx2
and the static window now shows nummbers

now of to some more testing and some sleep
