Hello,

I just put GBPVR on a new system and installed, but when I run PVRX2 the window comes up but seems to be stuck with just my desktop backgroun in it. My video renderer is "Overlay Manager" because "VMR9 Custom" didnt work.. error msg popped up.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Thanks!!

It probably means you video card isnt up to the Direct3d requirements of PVRX2.exe.

What video card do you have?

Hey sub,

My video card is a Radeon 9600 series. I ran a previous version of PVRX2 and it worked fine.. any ideas?

Thanks!

That should play.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files and I'll take a look.

Hello,

I was having the same problem on my freshly installed setup. PVRX2 window was transparent and I was getting an error message that my system did not support VRM9. I was running WinXP SP1 and this issue went away when I did the upgrade to SP2 through Windowsupdate. Everything is now fine.

Just a hint. This was however the first time I was using PVRX2.

Its failing to initialised Direct3D on your machine. What version of Windows are you running?

You might need to download and install DirectX to fix it.
