I can't seem to get GB-PVR to work with my HVR-1250 internal HDTV card. The program and the config hang. I was able to select my card and scan for channels, which it found all ATSC locals, then it said it was getting the program guide info. I then go back to the GB-PVR program and pull up the guide and all the channels are there but no guide data. I click on a channnel and select watch but the program hangs. What am I missing.

Any help is appreciated. I did use the search, not a forum newbe, and it helped get me this far but now I'm stuck and at a loss.

What EPG Source did you select when you setup your capture source?

I checked the box that said only show Installed devices and then selected digital:Hauppauge OEM 885. When I tried 1250MCE it would hang after I clicked OK.

Reproduce this problem, then zip and attach the pvxr2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

EPG Source: DVB-EPG Broadcast

Here are the pvxr2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log files zipped also Config.exe logs.

You have ATSC in north america, not DVB, so there is no DVB EPG transmited there. This explains why your EPG is empty.

What steps did you do before zipping up this pvrx2.exe.log?

The DVB is the only one that doesn't give me a pop up error right after I select it. I figured I should be selecting the one for US and Canada but can't get it to work.

Schedules Direct, the US/Canada one you're referring to, is a pay service that you would have had to set up an account with first (see http://www.schedulesdirect.com).

Alternatively you could look free xmltv options, like mc2xml which is used by quite a few people.

Thanks, will do.
Aside from that Why does the system hang when I try and view channel? Did you see anything out of line in the files I uploaded?

It looks like either the recording service wasnt running, or you have some firewall software getting the way of communication.
