When I attempt to play a Blue Ray disk from GBPVR it very politely ejects the drawer and informs me that there is not a disk in the drive. There is a disk there. It plays with no problem using the CyberLink High Def suite software.
On DVD TAB configuration is:
Navigator CyberLink DVD Navigator (PDVD7)
Video Decoder CyberLink Video/SP Decoder
Audio Decoder CyberLink Audio Decoder
Audio Renderer CyberLink Audio Renderer (PDVD7).
Does anyone have any suggestions?

There is no support for playing Blu-Ray movies in GB-PVR.

If you do a forum search, you'll hopefully find a post by 'whurlston' on getting blu-ray playback working.

This should get you started: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=39575

The MPC Home Cinema demuxer will work as well. I just need to update the instructions.

whurlston,

Alas, I am still not able to get the Blu-ray drive to work under GBPVR. I have; downloaded and installed the AnyDVD software, downloaded and installed the ffdshow software. With the graphStudio software, I have changed the merit on the ArcSoft MPEG demuxer. Configured the libavcodec in ffdshow as per the instructions and deleted the .m2ts key from the registry. The only success that I have had is the TotalMedei Extreme will now play the Blu-ray disk, where as before it wouldn’t. The only software that would play from the onset was the PowerDVD.
Have I missed something somewhere? Thanks for the help.

In GraphStudio, select "File"->"Render Media File" and select an m2ts file (The largest one is usually the movie, or part of it). Once it renders, select "File"->"Save as XML" and zip and post the xml file.

Also, are you running XP? If so, you will need to find and download the Toshiba UDF 2.5 drivers.

Yes I am running XP, so have downloaded the UDF drivers and will go and install them and let you know what happens from there.

Oh and thanks for the quick response Smile

It looks like it's still loading Haali as the file source filter. Try removing Haali and see if it works then. If you still need Haali for anything, you can try reinstalling it but uncheck .ts files when registering extentions.

I am still having now success in getting GBPVR to play a Blu-ray. I uninstalled the Haali as you suggested and now have ArcSoft handling do things (Just going by what the GraphStudio shows me. Not that I understand what it is saying or doing). I have even had it so that it was showing Cyberlink PVD 8 but still no joy. Here is a new graph file.
