I just installed GB-PVR and the Guide and DVD are working perfectly, but when I try to watch Live TV the screen goes black for a few seconds then a window pops up with the above error. I have tried all three rendering modes (VMR9, Overlay, and VMR7) and get the same result. (Actually it won't let me run VMR9 although I think I should be able to (GeForceFX 5200 w/DirectX 9c installed))

I have an AverMedia M150, which it seems to recognize in the setup. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Alright well with some progress i guess. Now GBPVR freezes with a debug law, and wintv gives an error of htv=0 which in the past means that i uninstall the drivers reinstall and im back in buisness. NOt in this case tho... Maybe im missing a step or soemthing... Drivers from cd, with update from Hauppauge and then the Mpeg Decoder....

I switched my Video Decoder under the Playback tab in the config option from System Defualt to Cyberlink (I have PowerDVD and it was my only other option) and then it worked. VMR9 also worked after that. I'd recommend screwing around with the playback settings.
