What is the reason for this error? This is a recent complete clean install of 1.3.11 with an import of existing recordings from a previous version (1.3.7). I did not import the season recordings because i have noticed problems/corruption in the database with this.

I also have sometimes the problem that deleting a recording takes a rather long time (up to 10 seconds). Are the problems related?

so how did you skip importing the season records? manually edit the dump file?
if so, you probably left an open <> or something... if you still have the file you imported, may be worth a second look...could possibly have a corrupt entry in db because of this..

can try editing db with a sqlite editor, i'd look in recording schedule table for messed up entries/ missing info..
a look at the import file would know for sure if that's what happened...Smile

Yes, I edited the dump file. Checked again but I made no errors. I am also getting a corrupt database when I do a complete import. Most of the season recording show only a single line without further details like station, type of season etc.
The SQL problem shows however another type of error which is related to a transcode that is not even programmed.

Post the logs and I'll see if anything stands out.

Sorry - I cant see anything obvious in those logs.

Has the error from the original post occurred more than once? Is there a pattern to when it happens?

No, only happened once. After that I made sure that all references to transcode in the config were removed. I have only the 4 analoge tuners (2 x PVR500) and only recording and playing back, so nothing special.

Sorry - I dont know. If it only happened the once, then its probably not worth spending too much time investigating.
