Since the latest version 1..3.11, I get a hang each time I push Ok in config.I have to manually kill the config process and restart recording service. Changes seems to be stored from config though.
Quote:also want to mention that even though my epg is setup, it is not setup correctly. It is ahead by an hour. i'm trying to figure this out.
This is usually because you dont have your timezone set correctly, or dont have you PC set to auto adjust for daylight savings. When changing it, you need to remember to do the 'empty epg' then an 'update epg' to pull in the listings again.
i need to figure out why the logs did not get attached... but anyway, i had the wrong time on my machine.. i don't understand how this could be because they always synch with time.windows.com.
will try attaching the logs again.

When you OK in the config app, it does some database clean up and consistency checking. How long it takes can depend on how many channels you have and how many days of listings you have.
gbpvriwanna Wrote:thanks - i loaded everything into the EPG and I need to clean this up since i don't get all the channels anyway.
Best way to do that is before the EPG gets to GBPVR, so that it helps keep the database small. So for SchedulesDirect you should log into their website and edit the channel lineup to remove channels you dont get.
