Ok I give up, I can't get a tv listing or live TV. on GPVR

I have a new computer running windows vista,

I have a hauppage WinTV HVR-1250 (model 79xxx, hybrid atsc/qam)

I registered at schedules direct & set up a lineup.

When I run the config file & try and update the EPG I get a problem, the channels get listed in the config window, but None are marked enabled. when I try to close the config file it locks up.

I tried mapping the map digital channels to epg and that seemed to work, all channels are listed as favs.

thank you

When you do the 'map digital channels to epg channels' step, you need to click the 'tuning request' column on the left hand channel list, to perform the actual mapping. Any channels not mapped, are automatically marked as disabled. (even if you'd tried to tick the enabled checkbox)

Try clicking the live tv button, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

The reason I asked you to try again is because the first time you attached config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log, not pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log.

Quote:2009-03-16 20:17:02.703 VERBOSE [1] GBPVR.Backend.Common.GbpvrException: No channels have been set up. Please run the Configuration utility and setup the EPG source. Use the 'Update EPG' button to force the system to import the latest set of channel and programme information.
You have no mapped and enabled channels. If you sure you've already mapped them, it could be vista file protection getting in the way - try deleting the "c:\users\<your account>\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory.
