I have installed GB-PVR. I have added my two DVB-T card as video sources, and I have mapped Channels-EPG. I have selected a dongle.bin file for Vista. What else do I have to do? When I start the main application and make click in TV it doesn't show nothing (so as tha TV guide). After right-click in the system tray icon and left-click in show status both cards are "sleeping". I also have set the number of server to autostart to "1", but it doesn't work yet. What else do I have to do? (is a single PC installation, it will be server and client if I can make it work).

Thanks for your help.

Hi.
Did you installed any kind of mpeg2 decoder?

Maybe SAF is good starting point.

Send me PM if you want more info or you want to use h.264 TV.

First, welcome to this forum, you'll find that it probably is the most friendly and helpful forum you ever visited. Don't hesitate to ask "stupid questions".
Did you already find the wiki?
http://www.gbpvr.com/pmwiki

The dongle.bin and the "autostart server" are only needed if you have a MVP.
You don't have program-info in the TV-Guide?
You probably should post the logs from the logs-dir so someone can have a look.

Do you have shares in this?Big Grin
I'm not sure but I doubt if they use h.264 in Spain.

No problem with codecs. Besides, I could watch TV during EPG mapping in a very small window, and Mux checker says It's OK. It seems that the main app can't initialize the TV cards. Maybe some configuration issue with the client? Did I miss something?

Not sure what do you mean by this, but SAF is complety my work (used filters are free MPC-HC stuff).

SAF was basicaly developed for my personal use and for MP, but after a leave MP and start to use GB-PVR + XBMC, i added GB-PVR support.

I have attached my logs, I don't know this program, but it doesn't seem there is a problem in the app, it looks like I made a mistake configuring it. I think the client cannot initialize the DVB-T cards.

I think that TV3 (a Catalonian TV) uses h.264. Anyway, I have installed all the codecs. This is not an issue.

You said this will be a "single PC installation". Are you running a separate client machine like an MVP? If not, you don't need to setup a server+client like with MediaPortal. The "server" is automatically a "client".

If you are using a separate client machine, are you able to start TV on the server? If not, post your PVRx2.exe.log and PVRx2.exe-native.log files after attempting it.

Then it should work. But the only way I "can" watch TV is in the Map Digital Channels to EPG Channels menu.

For this you don't need any codecs afaik. So it might still be a codec issue.
But I think you should post all of the logs.
