I've got two haupauge 45 button remotes (NOT the MCE type) and the receiver / blaster wires clogging up my cupboard. If anyone wants one PM an address (UK hopefully Smile) and I'll post them on.
They're off my HVR1300s but seeing as I'm using a USB MCE remote I can't realistically see me needing them and thought they might do someone as a spare or replacement.
Pretty sure the remotes are 100% Ok. I think I remember the receivers needed a wiggle sometimes but I imagine this was more likely to be the card socket and not the plug/wire as I can't see any obvious damage.
First come first served or they're going in the bin.

Hey Fuzz- I don't need them but that is one of the coolest offers I have seen!
Thanks for keeping the boards reputation so high!

Very kind of you to say so. Are you sure you don't want one? I could really do with the space...

Wish I lived in the UK, but I don't - so I'll leave them to people near by. Super cool for you to offer them!

Super offer - I'd love to give one a good home... problem is I've got 4xNova-t 500s and 4xMVPs, so I've already got eight of them to feed...

Don't feed them after midnight, and keep them away from water.

I'll take that on board - my biggest fear is that they start breeding...

That's a nice offer. Unfortunately I'm down to my last 2 x 45 button remotes.

just out of interest, in what way is the USB MCE remote better than the hauppague ?

you can wake from standby by remote, you can mix IR and non-IR hauppauge cards, it's a little more responsive (IMO) and the receiver wires never need wiggling. I also beleive that if you get a genuine MS remote (which mine isn't) it'll learn the TV power button too.
not really selling them am I.......
