QAM Setup No Channels Avermedia 780 Combo

Hi All
Vista 32bit Ultimate
Installed GBPVR.
Ran Config
Detected Tuner - AverMedia m780
Downloaded Guide - Digital Comcast NJ
When mapping I get no channels found.
Tried the QamManager with all settings to no avail.
Picked up all digitals/QAM in area when running the sage demo.
Also no problem when I used the analog input of the card so I am pretty lost.
BTW Vista MCE doesn't detect my QAM tuner at all with TVpack installed
