Since midnight last night I've no listings in my TV Guide for any channel. The information is definitely in the database as I've checked manually, the TV guide on the web interface still works and my scheduled daily recordings are still being recorded.
I moved the database to my SQL server about a week ago (mainly to try and save memory and already had SQL server running for other stuff) and changed the DB connection string to use that, so maybe that's somehow related? I can't see any problems in any of the logs.

This was a bug with the last release. If you upgrade to the latest release, your guide data will return.

That said, using SQL server will break the upgrade process. You'll have to manually correct this yourself. I only test against the original MS Access database, so I'm not familiar with the issues you'll encounter.

Ok thanks, I'll upgrade to the latest version!

I did look around but couldn't find a mention of the bug anywhere, and the update announcement wasn't really clear on what bug with the TV guide it fixed. Anyway, I'll download the new version and well done on the quick fix! [Image: smile.gif]

Hi DaveParker, did that upgrade work for you?

Mine ran out at midnight too and have never worked again. I upgraded (admittedly at 11:30pm and sleepy) but it had no effect.

I am now on a semi-new-install of the latest version (renamed old folder and started again, tried copying in old mdb but no luck there, so now I am waiting on a fresh install...if I have not forgotten anything...and a 'first' zap2it...which I cancelled after it ran for 40 minutes but am trying again).

Some other thread seems to be another guy with the same issue (and the same "upgrade" advice) so I am hoping if someone else finds the magic step I am missing in the upgrade it will get posted.

Thanks.

Hey, just wanted to say that a reinstall worked for me.

Actually what I did was stopped the service, made it "manual", rebooted, renamed the folder, then did a "repair" install...I got a blank gb-pvr that way, reset my plugins and reloaded my zap2it (took about an hour for that to run).

Working perfectly again!

Yes, the upgrade fixed my empty TV Guide problem. Unfortunately I now have a new problem where some recordings don't appear in the ready recordings list, even when they are on disk and look fine in the database. Pending recordings are still getting recorded, but not showing up on th ready screen.

I've got a similar, but different issue with a blank TV Guide. After the upgrade to 0.90 I now have TV Guide data in GBPVR on my computer, but on the MVP it is still blank. Has anyone seen this issue? Before the upgrade, both the MVP and the computer were blank.

On the MVP I can schedule recording by using the Guide Search, and it will list stuff there...but not in the TV Guide view...
