Hey, I have everything set up and it works great. There is the one thing that I would like to fix. I have the TV Server and I am running it through my wifi to my laptop. It works fine but being that it is always using the wifi, when I roll over the screen by accident the OSD of PVRX2 slows down my entire computer to the point where the program is non responsive. I was wondering if there is a way to strip this feature off of the PVRX2 program. Thanks.

you could try the setting "use minimal OSD" - but I am not sure if thats related only to MVP / PCH devices.

What are the specs of the laptop?

i got the problem fixed, it was caused by a wifi setting, but i now have a new one. I don't like using GBPVR to watch recorded shows, I just use the file, when i view it there is an annoying line of static at the top, its not large but the flickering bothers everyone. Wondering what that is?

You can try playing with the OverScanBorder settings in config.xml to clip the top of the image.

Yeah that line will just be teletext or closed captions. TV's don't generally display due to their default overscan.

tried playing with the overscan and got no luck in the file of the recording, the line is still there, something i noticed, its only there on the cable channels. Channels like NBC and CBS do not have it, any other ideas?

How much overscan did you do?
The overscan settings will not remove the line from the recorded file, as it's part of the broadcast image, but can be hidden on playback with GBPVR using the overscan.
Why don't you get a screenshot.
