gbpvr says that the drvers required are not insalled... are u sure u want to setup this source?

i installed the latest 1.5.6 beta because i can't find the previous GA drivers...

any help in finding the prevous drivers and/or the above issue would be helpful.

thanks in advance

Can you run the filtercheck.exe utility from the gbpvr directory, and attach the filtercheck.log?

Did you have the board number set correctly? It should be device #1.

thanks sub,

this fixed the problem of having GBPVR recognize it.

However, I'm afraid i need to do more searching through the forum. I was tryng to watch live tv over VNCViewer but this caused the HTPC to reboot. don't know if it is vncviewer or the hd-pvr... I'm guessing it is the latter since was able to watch videos earlier (although choppy)...

thanks again sir.

Sorry, I dont know, but I'm sure thats not a GB-PVR problem.

sub,

it looks like GBPVR lost the drivers to hdpvr after the reboot. Even as capture #1, i get the message that the drivers are not installed...

but i may have another problem.. it looks like the arcsoft software is not picking up hd-pvr as a recording source... argh.

Get it working in ArcSoft first, so you know the drivers are installed and the device is working, then try it in GB-PVR.

If you still want the previous drivers here is the link:

If you want a different version try shspvr.com or let me know.

i got arcsoft to recogize hd-pvr. I moved hd-pvr to a different USB port. all this with the new beta driver.

gbpvr now recognizes hd-pvr.. but when trying to play livetv, it goes back to the tv guide. I did configure playback to use coreavc as the decoder for 2.64.

will try with the non-beta driver when i get a chance.
