I had to recover my GBPVR setup from an image I took a few weeks ago after windows update screwed the whole lot up.

After recovering the image the only thing I did was to replace the gbpvr.db3 file with the latest one to ensure all the recording and settings were correct.

Most things are working but I seem to have 3 main issues which are no doubt linked.

On both PC and PCH clients I can watch recording but Live TV now just returns back to the menu.

The only other difference I can see is that the PCH & PC Clients no no longer seems to buffer anything and wonder if this is why the live TV isnt working.

I have attached my logs.

thanks in advance
Steve

Perhaps it is this error

Code:
2009-07-22 22:46:29.828    VERBOSE    FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Agarwal's MDAPI filter
2009-07-22 22:46:29.828    INFO    MDAPI Filter not found. Disabling MDAPI support.

Sorry, I don't know anything about it. however if you don't need it just disable it.

This can be safely ignored. It wont cause any problems.

Sub yes can record on the server and play back but just seems to be no buffering which is causing a problem.

Yeah, it probably worth running ReRegisterFilters.bat to fix that. I'm not sure it'll be the cause of the problem though.

Does specified live tv buffer directory exist? and does a file get created in there when you try to view live tv.
