Client locking up

I'm attempting to use a laptop as a GB-PVR client machine. I've installed version 1.2.13 and configured the app to point to the shared livetv, recordings and server name. When I start PVRX2 the menu comes up and I can browse the recordings directory but when I hit Play the machine locks up. Is this just an indication that the laptop doesn't have the resources to run as a client? Or might it be a codec issue?

Attached are the logs - appreciate any help you can offer.

It looks like its timing out trying to contact the server. I'd check you've got the server name entered correctly, and that no firewall software on the client or server is getting in the way.
