I get no sound on some old .ts recordings and live TV using the TS Mux. I have SAF v.4.00 beta16: (29.09.2009) installed and running Windows 7 32bit.

Any advice on how to open these graphs so can debug?

When I can't open a .grf, I use the bit of log that looks like this ...

Quote:
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE Graph contains the following filters:
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE - Video Renderer
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE - Default DirectSound Device
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE - NVIDIA Video Decoder
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE - NVIDIA Audio Decoder
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE - GB-PVR Flow Status
2009-09-29 13:54:27.131 VERBOSE - C:\$Media\TVvideo\Design for Life\Design for Life_20090921_21002200.dvr-ms

Its fairly common to get a crash trying to open .grf files. Some filters or decoders dont save their state correctly when asked to save, which can result in a crash when you to open the file. There is nothing that can be done to stop this happening. As Graham suggests above, about all you can do is manually check the decoder list in the log files instead.

Thanks. At least I'm not the only one.
