I just upgraded to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and re-installed GBPVR. Windows 7 seems to be a very nice setup for GBPVR. It is very responsive and my CPU usage when playing HD content from mkv files is down around 15%. The video is very smooth. I like it. The upgrade went quite well with only a couple of minor glitches. Hopefully I can get them solved.

My tuners record. My recordings all play. Live video functions as it should. My videos all play.

1) I can't delete any recordings from the recording screen.
2) DVD doesn't function. I think this is just a Navigator/codec issue. I tried both the default codec and Cyberlink that I installed from the K-lite pack. I haven't played with it much yet.

What should I look for to fix my problems?

Thanks.

Can you reproduce this, then post the pvrx2.exe.log?

I solved the recordings issue. The files and folders had an unknown user as their owner. I had to change all the security preferences. It was a bit of a pain, but it works now.

I installed a version of power DVD 7 that I had (because I couldn't find my disk with Power DVD 8). It didn't work with Windows 7 at all. I eventually found the power DVD 8 disk and installed it after uninstalling Power DVD 7. The power DVD 7 navigator still shows up, but there is no power DVD 8 navigator. The power DVD 8 decoders show up in the codec lists. Thus, I still can't play a DVD yet. I know there is a way to type the information in to a config file for PVRX2. What file is it?

There is lots of Directshow filter managers out there, like the one for download at http://www.softella.com/dsfm/index.en.htm, which will show you where directshow filter are, and make it easy to remove this.

Thanks. I might try to get powerdvd working. I managed to get DVDs to play using just ffdshow for my video and audio codec and the standard Navigator. Its working quite well.
