GraphStudio shows no pins connected for recording playback

I turned on lastgraph.grf creation by setting SaveGraphFiles to true in config.xml. Tried to play a recording (which plays fine with media players). Here is the graph as shown by Graph Studio

Double check to make sure that the necessary codecs are enabled in ffdshow. Also make sure that the "Use ffdshow only in... " option is disabled in the "DirectShow control" tab.

Also, add a DWORD entry in the registry: HKLM\Software\Devnz\GBPVR\AddGraphToROT=1

Then try connecting to the graph from GraphStudio while it is playing. Sometimes the saved graphs do not load properly due to filter states that cannot be saved.

AddGraphToROT was already 1. Already had ffdshow set to screenshots below. GraphStudio connect showed same as screenshot above.

I just grabbed the Codec Tweak Tool that I posted the link to, ran it and had it re-register DirectShow filters, and now everything is working. I'm using Vista Codec Pack v5.48.

Lesson learned: if lastgraph.grf shows no pins connected, run Codec Tweak Tool.

Cool. You might want to change the multiple instances option in ffdshow if you use it for more than one audio decoder (MPEG + AC3, etc).
