Failed to locate BDA Tuner

Hi everybody,

I'm using GB-PVR with TBS Q-BOX II DVB-S2 - USB, and I don't know the reason, but I get an error when try to watch Live TV. Happens when I watch a channel, exit to main menu and go back to Live TV (same channel or other one), I get a black screen, and an error in log file:

The same error occurs when I scan new channels and try to update EPG using DVB EPG. When I try to pause a live tv, appears a message: "there is no free tuner..."

By the way: I don't have this problems with others DVB-S players, like dvbDream.

I dont see that "Failed to locate configured BDA tuner device" error in those logs.

Ah, right you are. I looked at the first attempt to use the device. That occurred further down the log.

Either way, its complaining that one of the components was not available in the machine at the time it looked for it.

The first attempt works fine. When it happens, I close GBPVR and start again to work... Sounds like something that is not being released, I'm not sure. Maybe the graph still running.

By the way, when I try to listen to a radio channel, it happens too, and I get the same error. I gonna try with Windows XP.

To me, it sounds like something screwy with the drivers for this device. GB-PVR just treats all devices the same, and the problem doesnt occur with other devices.

Sub, problem solved! TBS has released a brand new driver, and the problem has gone.
