Honest it was working earlier [Image: smile.gif]

All of a sudden I'm getting the following error:

Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.
The resource cannot be found.
Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested Url: /gbpvr/web/index.aspx

The URL I use (which hasn't changed is: http://192.168.0.104:7647/gbpvr/index.aspx

I'm running the Firefox browser.

I'm running the new .908 version. The only other change was to install some MS fixes this morning. I was able to view the web TV Guide afterwords (at least I think I did, but it's been one of those days).

I've reinstalled GBPVR but that didn't help.

Any thoughts.

Sub,
I believe there was a .NET framework update in the last automatic update.
I have the same problem. I also can't see any TV guide information from within GBPVR. However, I'm running a much older version.

Some other people had problems last week when Microsoft released the .NET udpates. you MIGHT be able to remove it via the control panel, if Add/Remove programs doesn't show your hotfix/patch, there might/should be a check box to allow it. If the patch is not bovious, look up on support.microsoft.com for the .NET patch to reference the KB number.

After the Windows Update, I got my webserver working by just turning off the Windows Firewall, which the update had enabled.

The guide will not work from february this year unless you're running v0.9.10. You'll need to upgrade.

Thanks Sub, I upgraded right after I posted. It works now.
However, I still can't get to the web server. This time it tells me that the connection is refused. I checked my firewall; It's always been disabled and still remains that way.
The process called "alg.exe" (application layer gateway) still remains active, however. Any ideas?

alg.exe isnt one of mine. I dont know anything about.

Windows Update a few days ago re-enabled the Windows Firewall, which caused problems for a few users so you might want to check its disabled in Control Panel -> Windows Firewall.

You could also try deleting all the files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\web\bin except gbweb.dll and gbweb.pdb, then restart the recording service and retry.
