Remote tweaking

I finally got the win-tv remote to work via the beta drivers. Now that I can use it, I was hoping to ask a couple questions:

1) Can the Videos button be remapped to My Videos instead?

2) Is there a comprehensive list of keyboard/remote key commands? eg, I see things like the Power button mapped to {ctrl}{shift}{f1}, but can't find what that is mapped to.

Yes, you need to change the <DefaultPluginVideo> setting in config.xml.

I was able to find the default for videos in there. Thx for that.

Are the other ones in there? Like I see you have power set to f12, but not sure where that is referenced.

Also, is it possible to have the guide button go out to the guide, and not the OSD? I like that, but I still can't change channels w/o the video eventually kicking me out to the guide anyway.

Actually, I would just be interested if there's a ref or where to look for the F key designations. I can guess some from the ir file and the config, but I'm assuming the relationship is made somewhere between the two.

All of the F key destinations are listed in the irremote section above. I've not added any other than these.

Then can I ask what f11 and f12 do? The rest are clear, but I see <DefaultPluginPower /> and that it's undefined, so I assume 12 would effect that, if set to something. I don't see GO mapped in config anywhere. SO maybe it's just what F11 points to.

Btw, I found my own solution to the out-to-guide instead of guide osd quesiton. I mapped the guide button to esc-f1, so it backs up first, which keeps it the same outside of live-tv.

GO/F11 just brings up the TV guide when viewing video. This is used because old remote doesnt have the Guide button.

Its currently working the way I intended, but I'm glad you've also found to meet your different requirements.

I have the issue where changing channels in live tv or going from preview to timeshift causes a skip in the video every 10-15 sec or so, so I can't use the osd guide, as nice as it works.

I have to say that little skip is a big improvement, as before the same thing would make the video jerk so bad it crashed back to the guide, so I know you're making improvements.

So the way you have it works great, I just needed a work-around for now. It's not the worst thing, as it has cured me of flipping

What is the syntax to make the <DefaultPluginVideo> change?  I was trying to remap the Videos button to the Video Archiver plugin and after a lot of failed attempts decided to ask.

if that doesnt work insert the exact name as shown in the main menu or in the config tool. i havent tried it with Video Archiver but i used
<DefaultPluginVideo>My Videos</DefaultPluginVideo>
to get it working with my videos. it just needs the exact plugin name.
