I am attempting to get GBpvr working for a client server setup. I have the server side working. It is changing channels and recording the programs. However when I attempt to play them back in the client I get no audio or video and the client freezes.

I have collected the logs and I hope someone can help.

Can you set the logging level back to 'debug', then reproduce the problem, and repost the logs.

Sub,

I changed the log levels and collected new logs, these are with the individual decoders selected in setup. But interestingly when the system default decoders are selected I see the same symptoms.

I can load the file into graphstudio and it will render fine, also MPC-HC will play the file without issues.

One more question, I have one HDhomerun tuner and 2 HDPVR only one hooked up atm. I would like to know how to get the software to utilize the HDhomerun for OTA first and the HDPVR for fallback and sat channels.

From the client machine, can you see the "\\MP-SVR\Recordings\V The Final Battle\" share in Windows Explorer? Copy and paste it to make sure its exactly the same text.

When scheduling recordings it works its way down the capture source list, when looking for a tuner for live tv it goes the opposite way - starting at the bottom of the capture source list and working its way up.

I copied the file path from the logs into explorer and it does open the window, and all of the files including comskip txt files are present.

Is there anyway to get the behavior the same for live tv and recordings?

If you copy the file to a local drive, does it play through PVRX2.exe on the client?

I copied the file from the network location to my desktop, add the desktop to my video directory. And attempted to play the recording. It immediately kicked me back to the desktop. The logs are attached.

BTW, the video section plays back MKV files from my WHS server fine.

Sub,

I also tried to copy the file to my WHS server, into my bluray directory where I keep my MKV files. These play fine from the client.

When I attempt to play the file the reaction is exactly the same as trying to play the file locally.

Can you play ant .ts files on the client? I'm guessing not, and implies its not directly related to client/server aspect.

Maybe try running ReRegisterFilter.bat, then try again.

I can play the ts files in graphstudio, media player classic, and windows media player. I did try that last night. No help.
