TV Guide not working for a few Channels

I have 3 or 4 channels that are not populating with program information in the TV Guide.

One of the 'missing' channels is the History Channel. I see the channel listed in the guide. I can watch the channel - it just doesn’t get any program info - so I can never record any of the shows on that channel.

I use schedules Direct - I logged in and checked my lineup and they have History listed as 64.


In the config app, under capture device settings - History ch is 67 and checked (there are several other 'History' listings but not checked).

I have tried various combinations - sometimes I had guide metadata but when I tuned to the channel it was not the right channel (fuzz/static).


I updated EPG info (capture device settings ) and it added additional copies of the channels.... in this example it added History as ch 99.
In the guide, ch 99 had the program info - but when I tune to it all I get is fuzz so I unchecked it again.

I have made so many iterations I am now thoroughly confused. Can someone please help my sync the SD metadata with the correct channels?

This usually happens when the change the name slightly.

Delete both copies of the History channel, ok out of the config app, then restart the config app, check the channel is go on the 'Channels tab' then 'update epg' and it should pull in the correct channel in the correct place.

I did what you suggested. Now I have the History channel w/ program info in the guide but when I watch that channel it's static (wrong chan).

Is it listed in the capture source channel list with the correct channel number? If not, then change the channel number to correct it.

I was able to fix it by changing the source channel to 67 in the capture device settings.
