My setup is as follows:
ATI Theatre Pro 550 - IR Blaster - Comcast Settop Box
Hauppauge 1600 - Analog (what's left) & Clear QAM
The issue I am having is with the ATI 550 + Blaster setup. I am recording some shows off my On-Demand, so I went in to my menu had it ready to watch (one press on my remote away) and started a manual recording for the length + padding of the show. When I selected "Record" Gbpvr blasted a channel change request to the settop box (for channel 1 - On Demand - the currently displayed and selected channel). This caused me to lose my place in the menu and have to navigate back to the show to start the playback.
Is there any way to have control over this situation? IE., if I am starting a manual recording - can I have it NOT change the channel? Or, must I start recording, then navigate and start my show to be recorded? The second option is not as elegant, as it requires me to know the length of the show prior to selecting it for playback.
Thanks.
