HIP config for NPVR, USB-URIT and Hauppauge 45 button remote

anywone with a config file for this setup that they want to share?
Got it working, but I have to press a button twice for anything to happen......

have you tried re-learning the buttons?
if current key config is good, just double click each key and click 'rescan' to learn the remote button again...
also, check the uirt config options, it may need timing adjustments.....[in HIP prefs/alternate input/device config]
also make sure no other software is trying to use remote..

Tried pretty much everything. But to no avail. I will get it working.

ATM, I installed LM remote and used the Techo trend profile togther with the original ir reciever and remote. Worked straight away. However the remote is tiny and doen't have skip buttons :-(

Got it working using LM Remote keymap. HIP just wont want to work the the Happ45 remote.

Did you use the USBUIRT for input?

you might wanna try IR Server Suite....i've had great luck with it and it supports lots of hardware..
and works in win7 and vista well...i've pretty much converted to it on all my machines now..

everyone in this thread seems pretty knowledgable about what HIP, IR Server Suite, and LM Remote can do, so perhaps you can provide me a quick answer:

can any of these (or any other) programs use the Hauppauge ir receiver (the one that plugs into a tuner card, not the USB type) to learn the codes of a random remote control? Or do I need something like a USB-UIRT before I can have it do learning?
