Yesterday I installed another TechnoTrend CT-3650CT USB tuner on my system. NPVR recognized it. Unfortunately now none of the tuners work now. It looks like NPVR does not distinguish them completely since it does not create separate MDplugin directories for each tuner. Both tuners work simultaneously in MediaPortal. Log file is attached.

Don't know if this affects it but it doesn't look like you have the latest DirectX runtime:

Code:

Please install the latest DirectX end-user redistributable package from Microsoft. ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.SEHException: External component has thrown an exception.

View the Devices screen, then post your npvr.log and I'll take a look.

It is Windows 7. I noticed this error before, I installed DirectX, but the error persists. NPVR seems to work OK with a single tuner installed despite this error.

It looks like its correctly identifying two separate DVB-T and DVB-C tuners. Do you see the four tuners listed on the Devices screen? Are you able to scan on each of them?

The device screen is normal, two DVB-T and two DVB-C tuners. When I try to scan either of them the error box pops up: Device failed to start.

There is only one set of directories in MDPlugins directory for 2 instances of the MDAPI plugins for each of DVB-C tuners.

Leave the Multidec support disabled for now, and try scanning both DVB-T tuners, then post your npvr.log and I'll take a look.

Did these devices ever work? ie, if you only have one in the machine, does it work correctly?
